- The Bell 429 is powered by two turbine engines from Pratt & Whitney Canada (PW207D2), each delivering 635hp (max continuous).
- The first Bell 429 had it's maiden flight in February 2007. In 2009 the model series received the Candian and European permit to fly.
- Depending on it's configuration, the Bell 429 can be used for various operation specifications. It is very popular for rescue and medical transportation (HEMS), for law inforcement or as a fast and smooth helicopter for VIP missions.
