Airport Helicopter AHB AG was founded in 1993 and operates its modern fleet from the airports of Basel - Mulhouse and Lucerne - Beromünster. Our flight instructors have years of experience in commercial helicopter flying and guarantee the student an efficient and practical training.
The training to become a private pilot can basically be started from the age of 16 without any formalities. For solo flights you need a valid Class 2 Medical Certificate. All theory subjects must be completed before the practical test.
This course is designed for private pilots with at least 155 hours of flight experience in helicopters at the beginning of the training and a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate. The theoretical training is also possible in self-study. Let us advise you without obligation.
With a type rating you acquire the right to fly other helicopter types. We will be happy to advise you individually on the minimum requirements and the training procedure before you start the type rating.
This course is intended for private pilots with at least 100 hours of flight time in helicopters after issuance of the private pilot license, of which at least 60 hours as pilot in command (PIC) and 20 hours of cross-country flight must be presented.
This course is aimed at private and professional pilots and enables the licence holder to perform landings above 1'100 m.a.s.l., on the official mountain landing sites (a total of 41 in Switzerland) up to the high mountains. At the end of the training, the candidate must have at least 100 hours of flight experience.
After completing a training course, the helicopters of Airport Helicopter AHB AG are at your disposal for use within the scope of your license and authorization.
