Flying career:

Michi completed his first trial flight in June 2006 at Heli Gotthard (now Swiss Helicopter) and in the same year began training to become a private pilot at Airport Helicopter in Beromünster. He followed this with professional pilot training and various ratings - including those for the EC120, Bell 206 Jet Ranger and AS350. Michi has been a flight instructor at Airport Helicopter since 2017 and is qualified to pilot in NIT (night flight) and MOU (mountain flight) up to 2,000 m above sea level. to train.

Education(s) and profession:

Michi trained as a polymechanic at Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG and then worked in production at several small companies. However, over the years he was drawn back to his training company, where he now holds a position as a “pre-assembly supervisor”. Michi works part-time at the fire department and is currently the deputy commander, driver and respiratory protection, at the Buochs-Ennetbürgen fire department.

Hobbies and free time:

In his free time, Michi prefers to spend time with his loved ones - his family - for example, hiking in the Swiss Alps. He also enjoys playing volleyball and is involved in the fire department.

Favorite Food:

Michi's favorite foods are French fries and lasagna.

Favorite travel destination:

Michi has his favorite travel destination right on his doorstep – the mountains. He enjoys walking there and enjoying the peace and quiet of nature.

Favorite helicopter:
